Samah Dagash, Can London 2012 inspire a Sudanese generation?

She thinks of her-self as a Sudanese-Londoner and when faced with the choice between volunteering for the London Olympics 2012 and taking up a prestigious job in Khartoum Samah chose both. Traveling between London and Khartoum at her own cost and taking time off as holidays she managed to have the experience of a life time being one of the “black, Arab-speaking, Muslim woman” faces of London. In this talk she tells us of the lessons she learned to inspire the young generations to volunteer and organize events that define national unity.
